Plans for this year 2006

Ander·January 9, 2006OOC

Hopefully you will start seeing much more activity from E-P. I've got some things scheduled which I need to take care of, but among the plans include buying a brand new 10mbit dedicated pipe (worldwide connection) with very low ping-times. --Q1 2006:-- Buy PowerEdge 1850:...

Ander·January 7, 2006General

We're currently sorting through the winners of the christmas-competition. I'd like to point out that eve-authors are not going to be drawn among the winning submissions. (That goes out especially to you Nuggan ;) sorry! )

Ander·January 3, 2006OOC

Griffinator told me earlier to tell you all that he's got many applications to process now. You'll have to stand in a queue for now before getting accepted, since there have been so many new members wanting to join his pirate-corp. So, to clarify. No more recruits accepted...

Nuggan's Rules on Honorable Fighting

Nuggan·January 2, 2006

So today I'm going about my pirating buisness when low and behold I find a few anti-pirates sitting outside my home station. Just three cruisers, no big threat, but I'm on buisness right now and have a full cargo hold so, since I had an insta to the station, I easily dock. A...

Malka Badi'a·December 31, 2005Piracy

What is the key to countering piracy as a non-pirate? Fitting modules to plug in the weakness of your own ship. Take for example the maller I just engaged. While normally a simple battle due to the larger turrets being unable to track fast enough for laser contact, this gem of a...

Freighter Ransoms FTW!

Spathi·December 31, 2005

Normally I usually dont post about any ransoms and instead just stick them on the ransom board (its in beta, you'll see it soon enough). However this one had a bit of planning and was a gate ransom of a freighter. Anyway, we got word that an obelisk was docking in a 0.4...

Ander·December 25, 2005General

Not only CCP are planning serverupgrades. But so is EVE-Pirate. We're planning to move to a DUAL CPU-system to ease load on MySQL and Webcontent serving. A 1U rackmounted server to be placed at our new cooled serverhosting. More info about planned downtime will follow.
